It would be nice to be able to rename the input files in the catalog view

It would also be nice to be able to close windows with <ENTER> (OK) or <ESC> (cancel)

What would you think about saving the userid and password during the current invocation of EasySMF (not across invocations)

Thanks for the suggestions. They are all good ones.

Saving the password should probably be an option rather than the default, but it could make life easier.

Enter/ESC should close most dialogs, I will double check them. Was there one you were thinking of specifically?

The "Select Data" dialog, The "Load Data" dialog box, The "Catalog" dialog. Basically it seems all the window dialogs are affected.

It looks like Catalog closes with Enter sometimes, but not always, depending on what has focus.

I'm not sure that the Load Data dialogs should close with Enter or Escape, at least if you are in the process of loading data. However, the flow through the load data dialogs could use some improvement.
