This chart shows the amount of contention for the CPU.

 

RMF samples the work running in the system and records the length of the queue for the CPU, i.e. when there is more work ready to run than there are CPUs available.

 

This chart shows:

 

•Median Queue - the queue length was less than this value approximately half the time.

•10th Percentile - the queue length was less than this value approximately 10 percent of the time.

•90th Percentile - the queue length was less than this value approximately 90 percent of the time.

 

Values come from either the SMF70Q00 - SMF70Q12 values for In and Ready Users, or SMF70U00 - SMF70U15 for Work Units.

 

CPU Busy is also shown for context.
